Fly fishing for Northern Pike produces nine trophy pike including 48-inch monster

Trophy Northern Pike Photo - Caught fly fishing by Bill Howard at North Knife Lake.

Dear Friends at North Knife Lake,

Thank you for yet another spectacular pike fishing adventure this summer. It’s been two months and my son Parker and I still can’t stop talking about it.

Our guide Ryan gave us fly-fishing lessons, Parker caught his first fly-fishing trophy northern pike, a 43-incher, and then we were blessed with nine more trophy northern pike including a 48-inch monster - all on flies! Even more amazing is the fact that we did all of our fishing on the main lake!

I continue to be blown away by the quality of your fishery. I’ve been fishing in Canada for more than two decades and I’ve never seen anything like it.  As usual, the accommodations and hospitality were 5-star, the food better than most restaurants I frequent in Chicago, and the total experience beyond mere words.

I don’t know how you do it, but I’m glad you do and hope you continue for years to come.  We’re booked again for next summer and literally counting-down the days on the calendar.

Thanks again for yet another lifetime of memories.

God bless,

Bill Howard
