Last week, we sent in our first group of caribou hunters into our two Caribou Camps at Schmok and Commonwealth Lakes. Traditio
nally our first five day hunt consists of only Manitoba Resident Hunters who seek the famous Central Barren Ground Caribou.
The hunt was a huge success with several very nice scoring bulls taken in full velvet. One of our return hunters had the opportunity to take his first animal ever with his bow, and also had the fortune of having his wife join him for the hunt.
